Installing a bathroom sink is not always easy. You may not be professionals. But you can successfully install your sink in your bathroom. To do so, follow these steps.
Step 1: Assembling the sink components
First, you will need to assemble the sink components. You need to make sure you have all the components ready. So check this first before you get to work.
To begin, you'll need to insert a gasket before screwing in your sink's drain. Using an open-end wrench, you need to attach the water supply hoses. With the nut, try to solidify the faucet.
Step 2: Attach the sink to the wall
You must take into account the weight of your sink. It should be between 15 and 22 kg. If it exceeds this weight, then seek help.
So, whether your sink is hanging or not, it deserves to be fixed to the wall. To do this, with a pencil, find all the mounting locations. Consider the width of your sink as well as its height in order to properly install it. Once you have checked the level, drill the wall.
If your wall is tiled, then put adhesive on the marking so as not to crack your tile. Once you've made the holes, put in the dowels. On your assembly instructions, you will see what size dowel to use. Then, screw in the threaded rods and tighten with the flat wrench. This way, your sink will be fixed properly.
Step 3: Connect the water supply and the sink
At this point, you will have to insert the tube in your wall and screw the end with the joint. Then check that there are no water leaks. The fixings made must support the weight of your sink. Turn on the faucet and make sure that the water is coming out normally and that the sink is draining properly.
